Public Education- Fully funding public education should occur by reforming the use of the franchise tax loophole while at the same time proposing an interim charge whereby the public education funding mechanism that existed prior to the 1980's oil-glut is researched and evaluated for viability and compatibility for today's educational needs. 2. Healthcare- As one of the leading states with a large population of uninsured citizens, we should immediately accept the federal funding for the expansion of Medicaid and adopt effective medical interchanges that will drive down the prices of insurance costs. |
